Hi everyone, I wanted to take a few moments to say thank you to everyone at CFH. The experiences I’ve had sweating, hurting, and working alongside all of you have been absolutely tremendous. Growing up I always played sports, then I went into the army, so fitness has always been pretty important. Somewhere along the way fitness became identified with how many push-ups and sit-ups I could do and how fast I could run two miles. After my first workout at CFH I quickly realized that fitness model was somewhat lacking. Since then I, like all of you have come a long way! The camaraderie I’ve seen at the box, whether it be with the morning crew, riding the night train, or battling with the weekend warriors, rivals the camaraderie I’ve seen in the Army. Most importantly I need to thank the morning crew specifically. Anyone crazy enough to get up that early and immediately jump into a workout, and then start the day is impressive. Barry, Stretch, Jane, Jumper, Detective Ron, DR Des, the infamous Yardley Ladies, Price, Tights and last but not least Tabata; thank you for your friendship, support, and encouragement over the past couple years. There are plenty of workouts I would never have made it through if it wasn’t for you guys and girls. Carl, Tripp, and Dave thank you for the mentorship, training, and friendship. Lastly, thank you to Carl and Jane for such an amazing send off. Since joining the Army I’ve moved around quite a bit, but I’ve never had anyone give me a going away party. Thank you so much, it was an amazing party. I wish you all the best of luck in the future. I will miss you all very much. I’ll see you on the high ground Timmy!
