  • Are all CrossFit gyms the same?

    No! All CrossFit gyms are individually owned and operated, we are not a franchise. Our affiliation with CrossFit is based on our passion for quality training and programming and love of functional movements done at high intensity. What does this mean for you? You should check out the coaches, classes, and facilities. Some gyms omit Olympic weightlifting or gymnastics. Some programs are based on body weight movement only. The experience and skill level of coaches can also vary and play a role in your choice of gym: can they effectively demonstrate and explain the movements as well as help you to understand the importance of them? Are you able to learn new skills and move forward? Choose what fits you and your goals best. No matter where you go, I am glad you found CrossFit. Done correctly, it is the BEST strength and conditioning program around!
  • Do I need experience or some minimum level of fitness?

    No. Our workouts and exercises are scalable to any fitness level. Our members come in all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities. Every one of them has found a way to become a healthier version of themselves, and so will you.
  • I have/had an injury. Can I still do CrossFit?

    Many of our members have successfully used CrossFit to rehabilitate from minor injuries. Because people continue to move, work, and play in the real world regardless of injury history, we believe the best route to long-term health is to learn perfect form of functional movements. Then to slowly build strength in those movements, rather than to avoid them altogether. Our instructors are always happy to work with you to scale and substitute exercises, to tailor workouts to your abilities. We cannot offer you specific medical advice, and advise that you consult your physician before starting this (or any other) exercise program.
  • How do I start?

    All the details are listed on our getting started page.
  • When can I get started?

    All athletes will need to attend our Introductory Classes to make sure you understand proper techniques for movement mechanics. You and your CFH Coach will determine when you are ready to transfer to regular classes.
  • I’m really fit and would like to skip the Introductory Classes, can I do that?

    All athletes must attend our Introductory Classes first to allow our Coaches time to work with you and assess that you have proper mechanics and movement patterns before entering regular classes. This is to ensure the safety of you and your fellow athletes.
  • I'm an experienced CrossFitter visiting your area. Can I come workout?

    Yes! We welcome experienced CrossFitters from all over. Pease email us at so we can let you know our schedule and make the appropriate arrangements for your visit. Drop-ins are $20 per person. Other fees available for long-term visitors.
  • I have relocated to your neighborhood. Can I visit and start regular classes?

    Yes! Experienced CrossFitters are welcome to attend one of our regular WOD classes. Before allowing you to move past our Foundations program, you will need to exhibit good knowledge and safety in the basics of CrossFit. You do not have to be a superstar, but you do need to know the movements and how to perform them safely. Email us at to set up your first visit.
  • How much do the Introductory Classes cost?

    All athletes can join us for 1 FREE class on a Tuesday at 6:00 PM or Saturday at 9:00 AM. After that, the Introductory Class rate is $120 per month to attend both the Tuesday and Saturday sessions. Once you have completed enough of these classes to transfer to regular classes, you can choose the CFH Membership Rate that fits you, your goals, and your lifestyle.
  • What do the Introductory Classes cover?

    These classes will provide you with an understanding of CrossFit philosophies and teach you proper form and mechanics for CrossFit movements. These movements include both body weight and weighted exercises and include movements like squatting, deadlifting, pressing, and Olympic lifting. We also work on conditioning and increasing your intensity to be able to join our regular level WOD classes.
